WEEKLY SOLAR MARKET & READY STOCK INTELLIGENCE
Market coverage 31 October – 6 November 2026 · Stock snapshot 2 November 2026
This week: connecting market opportunity with available supply
Solar procurement is increasingly about securing a complete, deliverable solution — not simply finding the lowest module price.
This week’s reported developments point to new solar-plus-storage procurement in India, strategic battery-storage development in Oman, solar project awards in Europe, and selected project opportunities in Africa.
For buyers, the practical question is:
Should you source from the factory region, or purchase available regional stock?
The answer depends on specifications, delivery deadlines, landed cost, warranty support and payment terms. This edition combines the weekly market briefing with PV.market’s stock snapshot to help procurement teams make that comparison.
1. Weekly regional solar briefing
India: solar-plus-storage creates new procurement opportunities
Reported developments: NHPC published procurement relating to battery storage and solar-plus-storage supply around the 1.2 GW Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh. Noida Power Company separately opened procurement for 80 MW/320 MWh of standalone BESS in Greater Noida.
Commercial interpretation: these opportunities require more than modules. Buyers need developers and partners capable of supplying batteries, PCS, EMS, transformers, grid studies, performance guarantees and long-term O&M.
For PV.market, supplier onboarding should prioritise relevant project references, technical documentation, applicable domestic-content requirements and consortium capability.

Middle East: Oman strengthens its storage pipeline
Reported development: Oman’s Nama Holding signed a cooperation agreement with State Grid International Development covering 1 GW of BESS across Duqm and Ibri. A related investment package includes a preliminary solar-inverter manufacturing partnership for Middle Eastern and North African markets.
Commercial interpretation: Oman presents opportunities for both project sourcing and future regional supply development. Relevant partners include storage EPCs, PCS and EMS providers, fire-protection specialists and suppliers with Gulf operating experience.
The manufacturing proposal should be treated as future potential capacity — not currently available stock.

Europe: project awards support targeted buyer development
Reported developments: Türkiye allocated 785 MW across 11 YEKA solar projects, while Germany awarded 288 MW of rooftop and noise-barrier PV.
Commercial interpretation: award recipients and their EPC partners offer a more focused procurement audience than broad, untargeted installer lists.
Supplier selection remains dependent on delivered price, certification, traceability, warranties and local service. A project award, however, does not establish that equipment procurement remains open.

Africa: distinguish future projects from open procurement
Reported developments: PNE sold a planned 250 MW solar project in South Africa, retaining development involvement through financial close. In Chad, procurement covered 3 MWp PV, 8 MWh BESS, a generator and a transformer, with a reported 12 November deadline.
Commercial interpretation: the South African development is a future procurement prospect, not a confirmed open equipment RFQ. Chad represents a more immediate opportunity for qualified EPC or consortium participants.
African project sourcing should emphasise complete scope, installation capability, guarantees and local support — not equipment prices alone.

2. Pricing: public benchmarks versus available stock
The public assessments used for this edition indicated broadly stable finished-module pricing, alongside some easing in storage inputs.
— Non-China TOPCon modules US$0.114/W · unchanged
— Europe-bound China-made TOPCon US$0.115/W FOB · unchanged
— India-assembled TOPCon US$0.135/W FOB · unchanged
— China domestic TOPCon RMB0.715/W · down 0.3%
— Battery-grade lithium carbonate RMB90,000/tonne · down 7.2%
— 280 Ah / 314 Ah LFP storage cells RMB0.353/Wh · down 0.7%
— Two-hour DC-side ESS RMB0.49/Wh · down 1%
No consequential public inverter-price movement was verified for the reporting period.
BUYER TAKEAWAY
A public benchmark is not an executable quotation. It may exclude freight, customs, tax, local handling, warranty arrangements and project-specific requirements. Battery-cell prices also should not be compared directly with complete installed ESS prices.
3. PV.market Solar Procurement & Ready Stock Intelligence
The supplied 2 November stock report contained 508 source rows reviewed, 491 qualifying listings retained, 71 brands, 16 warehouse countries and 29 Power & Sun rows.
Seventeen module rows with quantities below 33 pieces were excluded from this analysis. Europe is grouped as one market, while individual warehouse locations remain relevant to procurement.
These are listing counts — not units, unique models or verified live availability.
Where is the listed stock?
The snapshot is distributed as follows: UAE 214 listings, China 82, Europe 57, India 36, Nigeria 30, South Africa 29, Oman 21, Morocco 18, Jordan 2 and Georgia 2.
The UAE has the deepest listing pool in this snapshot. That makes it a useful starting point for regional sourcing, but product eligibility and fulfilment must still be checked individually.
Module-price comparison
The following comparison uses Tier 1 listing prices divided by stated module wattage. Only rows with explicit prices and wattages were included: China, 41 rows in USD, median US$0.120/W; UAE, 10 rows in USD, US$0.137/W; Europe, 18 rows in EUR, €0.110/W; Nigeria, 8 rows in USD, US$0.170/W; South Africa, 6 rows in USD, US$0.149/W; Morocco, 2 rows in USD, US$0.157/W; India, 5 USD listings at US$0.176/W and 12 INR listings at ₹16.34/W.
HOW TO INTERPRET THIS
These are mixed-product listing medians, not like-for-like regional market indices. Differences may reflect technology, wattage, certification, quantities, taxes, warranty and delivery terms.
Currencies have not been converted. The snapshot cannot establish week-on-week PV.market price movements without a comparable earlier dataset.
Selected module listings
China: Q-Sun 720 W, 3,060 pieces, US$79.38 per unit, US$0.110/W, six weeks. UAE: RECOM 620 W, 6,480 pieces, US$79.83, US$0.129/W, one week. Netherlands: Tongwei 635 W, 15,000 pieces, €62.79, €0.099/W, one week. Nigeria: Jinko 615 W, 36 pieces, US$88.58, US$0.144/W, one week. South Africa: Astronergy 610 W, 2,160 pieces, US$87.55, US$0.144/W, one week. India: Waaree 615 W, 1,000 pieces, ₹9,999.24, ₹16.26/W, one week. Morocco: GCL 625 W, 3,600 pieces, US$95.61, US$0.153/W, one week.
Listed quantity does not establish that an order meets PV.market’s transaction MOQ or the seller’s applicable tier conditions.
Selected inverter and storage listings
UAE: Sungrow SG150CX 150 kW inverter, 119 units, US$4,245.97, US$28.31/kW. Europe: Sungrow SG50CX-P2 50 kW inverter, 155 units, €1,575, €31.50/kW. China: Genixgreen 16.08 kWh battery, 380 units, US$1,321.45, US$82.18/kWh. UAE: Power & Sun Tusk WFR 5.12 kWh battery, 50 units, US$508.20, US$99.26/kWh. Nigeria: Deye SE-F16-C 16 kWh battery, 100 units, US$1,916.25, US$119.77/kWh. Europe: FIMER PVX 241 kWh ESS, 2 units, €45,150, €187.34/kWh.
IMPORTANT
Battery packs, containerised ESS and complete AC systems have different scopes. These normalised figures are not direct substitutes for a technical comparison.
All prices, quantities, lead times, tier eligibility, destination restrictions and warranty terms require reconfirmation before a pro forma invoice.
4. Logistics: compare delivered cost, not headline price
Drewry’s assessment used in this edition reported the global container index at US$4,389/40ft, down 1%; Shanghai–Rotterdam at US$3,615/40ft, down 2%; and Shanghai–Genoa at US$4,166/40ft, unchanged.
Source: Drewry, 5 November 2026.
Commercial interpretation: lower freight can improve factory-region sourcing economics, but it does not guarantee vessel space, transit reliability or on-time commissioning.
A useful comparison includes equipment, freight, insurance, customs and tax, port handling, inland delivery, financing and delay exposure.
For an urgent replacement or C&I project, regional stock may justify a higher equipment price. For planned procurement with sufficient lead time, factory-region supply may be more competitive.
5. Turn market intelligence into a better RFQ
To obtain a useful comparison, buyers should provide:
☐ Destination and required delivery date.
☐ Product model or acceptable alternatives.
☐ Quantity and preferred Incoterm.
☐ Applicable certification and warranty requirements.
☐ For BESS: MW, MWh, duration, PCS/EMS scope, fire protection, commissioning and O&M requirements.
Sellers should keep warehouse quantities, datasheets, tier prices and lead times current. A listing is most useful when it can be converted into an executable offer.
6. Marketplace watch and areas without meaningful change
No material direct solar-equipment marketplace acquisition, funding round or major platform launch was verified for the period.
No meaningful change was verified in public inverter-price benchmarks. Finished-module benchmarks were broadly stable. Africa’s identified developments were project-specific rather than evidence of a broad regional regulatory shift.
For PV.market’s own stock prices, weekly movement is not established: this analysis uses one dated snapshot.
Five priorities for the coming week
1. Qualify Indian procurement opportunities: map developers and equipment partners around NHPC Jalaun and NPCL Greater Noida.
2. Validate Oman’s procurement route: confirm project scope, responsibilities, timing and the status of manufacturing proposals.
3. Target European award recipients: identify which developers and EPCs still have open equipment requirements.
4. Check Chad’s tender requirements immediately: confirm eligibility, submission requirements and the reported 12 November deadline.
5. Refresh promoted stock offers: reconfirm price, quantity, lead time, applicable MOQ, destination eligibility and complete landed cost.

Buyer questions about this edition
What period does this report cover?
The market briefing covers 31 October–6 November 2026. The PV.market stock analysis uses a separate snapshot dated 2 November 2026.
Are the listed quantities and prices available to order now?
They are historical listing observations. Ask the supplier to reconfirm the exact model, available quantity, applicable MOQ or price tier, delivery terms and warranty before ordering.
Can I compare all regional prices directly?
The figures mix products and currencies. Compare like-for-like specifications, quantities and delivered costs. Do not treat a regional listing median as a firm quotation or a complete ESS price.
How do I request a current quotation?
Prepare a separate line for each product, with its model or specification, quantity, delivery destination and required date. Use the RFQ form and compare the supplier’s written offer with the dated snapshot.
