The Solis S6-EH1P8K is an 8kW single-phase hybrid energy storage inverter built around a 48V low-voltage battery, for homes and small businesses combining solar, storage and backup.
Two MPPTs accept up to four strings at 32A each across a 90–435V window — a very low tracking floor that keeps short strings and shaded arrays producing when other inverters drop out. Max efficiency 96.2% with 96.1% EU efficiency; battery charging from PV reaches 95.3% and discharge efficiency 93.8%.
Off-grid mode delivers 200% overload for 10 seconds, enough to start motors, pumps and compressors during an outage. Multiple generator connection methods with automatic on/off control suit sites with unreliable grid supply, and smart load management extends backup time by shedding non-essential circuits first. Backup level is customisable so critical loads stay covered.
The 40–60V battery port works with lithium-ion and lead-acid banks through a single battery and BMS port. AI-powered and VPP-ready features open up tariff optimisation and grid services where those markets exist.
IP66 rated for harsh environments with intelligent redundant fan cooling. Communication is comprehensive: Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth standard, plus CAN-BMS, CAN-Parallel, RS485 meter, DRM, DI and dual DO, with 2G/3G/4G optional.
