Sungrow SG10RT Multi-MPPT String Inverter for 1000 Vdc System

The Sungrow SG10RT is a 10kW three-phase grid-tie string inverter for 1000Vdc systems, suited to larger homes and small commercial rooftops running a three-phase supply. Two independent MPPTs track across a wide 160–1000V window and start generating from 180V, so strings produce earlier in the morning and keep working on short winter days. Two strings can be connected to the first MPPT and one to the second, and recommended PV input reaches 15kWp against 10kW rated output — 1.5x oversizing headroom. Max efficiency 98.50%, European efficiency 97.90%. Bifacial modules are supported directly, and built-in PID recovery reverses potential-induced degradation overnight. Smart IV curve scanning diagnoses underperforming strings remotely, and per-string current monitoring flags faults before they cost yield. Safety comes from a quick arc fault circuit interrupter, Type II surge protection on DC and AC sides, and a C5 anti-corrosion rating for coastal and industrial sites. The IP65 enclosure uses natural cooling with no fans to service, operating from -25°C to +60°C up to 4000m altitude. At 18kg it mounts on a single wall bracket, with push-in MC4 connectors and plug-and-play AC termination. Commissioning runs through the Sungrow app over WLAN, with Ethernet, RS485, DI and DO available for monitoring, plus 24/7 live data and remote firmware updates. Certified to IEC/EN 62109-1/2, IEC 61727, IEC 62116, AS/NZS 4777.2:2020, VDE-AR-N-4105, EN 50549-1, G98 and DEWA, with LVRT, HVRT and power control.
