Sungrow 20RT On-grid 3 Phase Inverter (SG20RT)

The Sungrow 20RT On-grid 3 Phase Inverter (SG20RT) is a compact multi-MPPT string inverter for commercial PV systems, delivering 20 kW nominal AC power (22 kVA max output, 31.9 A max current) across 220/380 V, 230/400 V, or 240/415 V grids with 98.5% maximum efficiency and 98.1% European efficiency. It features two independent MPP trackers (2 strings each), 30 kWp recommended max PV input (50 A total, 25 A per MPPT), a 160–1000 V MPP range (1100 V max, 600 V nominal, 180 V startup), bifacial module compatibility, and built-in PID recovery for optimized yields via smart forced air cooling in an IP65 enclosure. Safety includes Type II DC/AC surge protection, AFCI arc detection, DC reverse connection protection, leakage current monitoring, integrated DC switch, and compliance with IEC 62109, AS/NZS 4777.2, VDE-AR-N 4105, and EN 50549 standards. Smart features offer IV curve scanning, 24/7 live monitoring, remote firmware updates, WLAN/Ethernet/RS485/DI/DO connectivity, LED display, and app commissioning in a lightweight 370 × 480 × 195 mm, 21 kg design operating from -25°C to +60°C up to 4000 m with 45 dB(A) noise. The transformerless SG20RT uses MC4 DC (6 mm² max) and plug-and-play AC connectors for easy installation.
