Sungrow 150KW 3P On-Grid Inverter, SG150CX

The Sungrow SG150CX is a 150kW three-phase grid-tie string inverter for 1000Vdc systems, built for large commercial rooftops and utility-scale ground mount. Seven independent MPPTs each take three strings, tracking across a 180–1000V window with 48A per tracker for 336A total input current. Recommended PV input reaches 210kWp against 150kW rated output — 1.4x oversizing. Global MPPT scanning lifts generation yield by over 2% on partially shaded or mismatched arrays. Max efficiency 98.8%, European efficiency 98.2% at 400V or 98.4% at 480V. Active fault identification with intelligent string-level protection switching isolates faults automatically and pinpoints abnormal strings for maintenance, cutting O&M time on large fleets. Rated AC voltage supports 380V, 400V, 415V and 480V grids. The IP66 enclosure carries a C5 anti-corrosion rating and operates from -30°C to +60°C up to 4000m altitude with smart forced air cooling. At 100kg it uses EVO2 DC connectors up to 6mm² and OT or DT AC terminals for 120–400mm² cable. Monitoring runs over RS485 with WLAN and Ethernet optional, plus LED display and Bluetooth app.
