The Sungrow SH3K6 is a 3.68kW single-phase hybrid inverter for residential solar with battery storage, built around a 48V low-voltage battery.
Two MPPTs track across a wide 125–560V window, with 180–520V for nominal power output, taking one string each at 11A per tracker. Max efficiency exceeds 97.7% with European efficiency above 97.0%, and battery charge and discharge efficiency above 94.0%.
The battery port accepts both lithium-ion and lead-acid banks across a 32–70V range, with HF isolation on the battery side and a DC fuse fitted as standard. Overvoltage category is III for mains and II for PV and battery.
At 22kg in a 457 × 515 × 170mm body it is light and compact enough for straightforward wall mounting. The IP65 enclosure suits indoor or sheltered outdoor installation, with anti-islanding, AC short-circuit and leakage current protection built in. Remote firmware updates and customisable settings keep the unit current without a site visit.
